Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of direct-hotels.com. The short version: it is a free directory, we are not a travel agency, and the hotel you book with is the one you have a contract with — not us.

What this service is

Direct Hotels lists hotels and links to their own websites. We take no commission, sell no placement, and run no booking flow. We are not an online travel agency, a booking platform, or an agent for any hotel.

Bookings are between you and the hotel

When you click through, you leave this site. Any reservation, payment, cancellation policy or dispute is entirely between you and that hotel, under their terms. We are not a party to it, we take no fee from it, and we cannot cancel, change or refund it.

Accuracy of the listings

Hotel details come from public sources and are enriched with AI-generated summaries. Descriptions, ratings, star classes, addresses and website links can be wrong or out of date. We publish star ratings only where they are consistent with the review data, and we do not hold prices or availability at all — for either, check the hotel's own site.

The directory is provided "as is", without warranty. Verify anything that matters to your trip with the hotel directly before you rely on it.

The AI trip planner

The planner generates suggestions with a language model. It can be wrong. Treat it as a starting point, not advice, and confirm details with the hotel. Do not enter payment details, passwords or identity documents into it — see the Privacy Policy for what is stored.

Acceptable use

• Do not scrape the site in a way that degrades it for others — there is a public read-only interface for automated access
• Do not misrepresent yourself as a hotel you do not represent when claiming a listing
• Do not use the directory to send unsolicited commercial messages to the hotels listed

Hotels: listings and removal

Listings are compiled from public sources. No hotel pays to be included, ranked or linked. If you represent a hotel and want your listing corrected or removed, use claim your hotel or email us; we will act on reasonable requests.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Direct Hotels is not liable for losses arising from your use of the directory or from any stay you book through a link found here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes
