About Direct Hotels

Direct Hotels is a free, non-commission hotel directory that helps travelers discover hotels' official websites and direct booking links. We do not charge commissions, sell sponsored placement, or act as an online travel agency.

OTAs charge hotels 15-25% commission on every booking. That cost gets passed on to travelers. By linking to hotels' own websites, we help both sides: travelers get better rates, and hotels keep more revenue.

We do not alter any website links. If a hotel's listed website points to an OTA, we surface that link as provided and flag it. We link to the data source — we don't modify it.

How It Works

  1. We collect hotel entities and official website links from public sources (Google Places).
  2. We identify the hotel's own website and surface it as the primary booking link.
  3. We summarize hotel information using AI to help with discovery.
  4. When you click "Book Direct," you go to the hotel's own website. We do not intermediate.
  5. We do not charge hotels for inclusion, ranking, or clicks.

The Data

Our database contains 121,000+ hotels across 9,000+ cities worldwide. Factual data (name, address, rating, classification) comes from Google Places. Hotel descriptions, amenities, and style tags are extracted from hotel websites using AI. These are clearly presented as summaries, not editorial reviews.

How Much Does It Cost?

Nothing. Zero. Free.

Direct Hotels is completely free for travelers and hotels. No affiliate links, no commissions, no ads, no premium tiers, no paid placements. Every link goes straight to the hotel's own website, unmodified.

Ranking

Hotels are ranked by Google review rating by default. There are no paid rankings, sponsored positions, or editorial bias. Users can sort by review count or name. Hotels cannot buy position or visibility.

For Hotels

Hotels are listed for free if they have a website on Google Places. Claim your listing to update your information — website URL, amenities, description, and more. Hotels can also request removal by contacting us.
