About Sterr - Hotel & Chalets

# Sterr - Hotel & Chalets Sterr is an intimate, family-run 4-star wellness hotel in the Bavarian Forest featuring just 37 rooms and suites plus 6 luxury chalets, positioned as an exclusive hideaway rather than a sprawling resort. Located in Viechtach with scenic valley views, the hotel combines modern comfort with Mediterranean touches, offering guests a choice between active pursuits—hiking through the surrounding forest—and spa relaxation in its expansive wellness area. The culinary experience centers on gourmet dinners prepared in a recently modernized kitchen, complemented by attentive service as part of a full board arrangement. Ideal for travelers seeking personalized, unhurried wellness retreats away from crowded tourist destinations, this property prioritizes spacious rooms and meticulous attention to detail over room quantity.
